Saturday 28th of November I will be holding a one day workshop in bird photography together with Stavanger Foto. The workshop will be held in Stavanger at the end of the photography fare, Fotomessen 26-28.11.
The workshop is aimed at photographers with a interest in nature wanting to take a step towards wildlife photography, and birds in particular. We will include technical background and inspiration, as well as an introduction towards "necessary" equipment. During the practical part we will visit Stokkavatnet were we will have plenty of opportunities to try out different techniques, including telephoto, wide angle, flash photography and different creative techniques. We will end the day with a step-by-step introduction to how images are transferred, stored, indexed, developed and displayed, using Adobe Lightroom as our tool.
If you are in Stavanger on Saturday 28th of November, you are welcome to join us.

Hei! Kan man komme uansett alder? Er det for mennesker som meg? Som er glad i å ta bilder, men kan ikke så mye. Må man ha lightroom, eller har dere det der på workshopen?
mvh Erlend Mjelde Hanssen
Hei Erlend,
Mvh, Roy
Hei igjen:)
Er det fortsatt plass? Trenger å vite det fort!

Hei.
Det er fremdeles noe få plasser igjen.
Mvh, Roy
Oh how I wish I could have been there for the workshop. I really want to learn how to photograph birds in flight. I've been trying to get a good shot of two eagles that fly around our house from time to time, but they are so fast and most of my pics turn out a little blurry. I seem to do much better with landscapes!
I love your blog and I'm glad I found it. Your photos are breathtaking!
